The mask is made of silk, and thus very slippery on my face and hair, even though the back elastic is not silk. It slides off my eyes several times in a night. It does cover and block out light completely for the amount of time it stays on. Unlike another reviewer mine has no scent.

This eye mask is not very soft and the strap that holds it in place is uncomfortable. I have to wear the strap a bit loose so the mask eventually falls off. When it is in place, it does keep the room nice and dark but I would not recommend this item.

Works great except for one thing, the strap is streching out. With the velcro used as tight as it will go, the mask is very loose on my head, I hae an average sized head.

For travel or for home – this mask is wonderful! I even bought one for my dad and husband. It fits well and is comfortable against the face. Would recommend this to anyone.
